Terms of Use

Acceptance

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites operated by Leer, Inc. and its divisions, subsidiaries, and affiliates (“Leer”, “we”, “us”), including leerinc.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Who we are

Leer, Inc. 206 Leer Street, New Lisbon, WI 53950 info@leerinc.com

Permitted use

You may use the Site to learn about our products, request information or a quote, access documentation, and contact us. You agree not to:

  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of these Terms;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its systems, or its networks;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Site, including by transmitting malware or by imposing an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
  • scrape, harvest, or systematically collect content or contact information from the Site by automated means, except that we permit search-engine crawling consistent with our robots.txt;
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation, including when using our chat assistants; or
  • copy, reproduce, or redistribute Site content except as permitted in section 5.

AI chat assistants

Parts of the Site offer AI-powered chat assistants that can answer questions about our equipment and help you prepare a quote or support request. You are interacting with an automated assistant, not a Leer employee. If you would like to speak with a person, ask the assistant to connect you and it will present a contact form.

The assistants are provided to help you find information. Their responses may be incomplete or may not reflect your specific application, site conditions, or requirements. Nothing an assistant says is a quotation, an offer, a technical specification you should rely on for design or purchasing, or a warranty. For anything you intend to rely on, please confirm with a Leer representative or an authorized dealer.

How we handle what you type into an assistant, including who processes it and how long it is kept, is described in our Privacy Policy. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the chat.

Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including text, images, product photography, documentation, logos, and the Leer name and marks — are owned by Leer or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view, download, and print Site content for your own internal, non-commercial reference, or as reasonably necessary to evaluate or use Leer products, provided you do not remove any proprietary notices. Any other use requires our prior written permission.

Product information on the Site

We work to keep product information accurate, but the Site is a marketing and reference resource, not a specification-control document. Product specifications, dimensions, capacities, availability, and pricing are subject to change without notice, and may vary by configuration, model year, and dealer. Images may be illustrative and may show optional equipment.

For specifications you intend to rely on — for design, installation planning, electrical or refrigeration work, or purchasing — confirm them with Leer or an authorized dealer against the documentation for your specific unit.

Third-party links

The Site may link to sites we do not control, including dealer, vendor, and social-media sites. We provide those links for convenience. We do not endorse and are not responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party site is governed by that site’s own terms.

What these Terms do not cover

These Terms govern your use of the Site only. They do not govern the purchase, sale, delivery, warranty, service, or return of Leer products.

Those matters are governed by the separate documents that apply to your transaction — your purchase order or quotation and its terms, Leer’s applicable product warranty, and any dealer or distribution agreement. Nothing on this Site, and nothing an AI assistant says, modifies, expands, limits, or replaces those documents, and nothing here creates a warranty. Where these Terms and a purchase or warranty document conflict, the purchase or warranty document governs as to that transaction.

Disclaimer

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that its content is accurate, complete, or current.

This section concerns the Site. It does not disclaim, limit, or otherwise affect any product warranty Leer provides — see section 8.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Leer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, whether based in contract, tort, or any other theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and it does not apply to product liability or product warranty claims, which are governed by the documents described in section 8.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Leer and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms or of applicable law.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they were last revised. Changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of the Site after that constitutes acceptance. Please check this page periodically.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Wisconsin have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site.

Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Leer regarding your use of the Site.
