For decades, the Del-Bar has been recognized as one of Wisconsin’s premier supper clubs, serving generations of guests with exceptional food, hospitality, and service. As business continued to grow, the restaurant needed additional cold storage to support operations while maintaining the speed and efficiency expected during its busiest hours.
Having partnered with Del-Bar previously to install a kitchen walk-in cooler, Leer was once again called upon to help solve the restaurant’s evolving refrigeration needs. This time, the objective was to relocate beverage storage out of the kitchen and into the building’s basement, freeing valuable workspace while creating a dedicated beer cooler capable of supporting high-volume service.
Leer designed and manufactured a custom beer cooler measuring 5’10” x 9’8″ x 7’6″, built with Soft Rail panels featuring 4.25-inch polyurethane insulation and durable 26-gauge acrylic-coated, stucco-embossed galvanized steel on both the interior and exterior. Installed with an insulated floor and an exterior access ramp, the cooler provides an efficient solution for transporting kegs and beverages while maximizing the available basement space.
Projects like this demonstrate how refrigerated storage needs evolve as businesses grow. Whether expanding capacity, improving workflow, or repurposing existing space, Leer partners with customers to develop solutions that fit their operations—not just their floor plan. By relocating beverage storage to a purpose-built cooler, Del-Bar gained additional kitchen efficiency while ensuring the refrigeration capacity needed to deliver the exceptional dining experience guests have come to expect.
